iOS v/s Android

Hey guys I am Sahil Sharma have very much interest in get to know about new technologies coming up in the market related to mobile operating system. In this article I am going to explain you about the comparison between I/OS v/s Android. Neither one of these platforms inherently better than the others and I don’t want to be confused platforms if only because the market strategies around either platforms is completely different.

Apple v/s Google

so remember before I go on any comment, better is irrelevant and there is no over winner or leader and all the pens in what you measuring and what you value a strategy is also very often it weakness in comparison to an opposite systems. In this the one thing that is very frequently lacking in the lot of code and code conversation that happen we have these platforms wars, these holy wars of “which platform is better?” or “which device is better?” there is no any clear answer. But there is a very clear answer that “Which device is better for you?”
Competition is necessary to keep platforms growing to keep features accelerating to have good experiences. If there is only one exist what do you think what happen with the one product? Its sure that alter us to existed me that its always every time going to get better but if you not really finding to win in the race that never ends.
So more than anything I am going to talk about I/OS vs Android. You need to understand that today I/OS and the latest version of Android are fantastic option for you which makes you incredibly difficult for consumers to decide. Both have rich echo systems of applications, media, features, and they were many ways the same but they also very different.

How they makes Money?

In this what makes you impossible to do comparisons; you better of comparing one I/OS device to another and one Android device to another Android device. Because comparing two different OS is very difficult but I still trying my best to talk about this platform differences more than anything but the reason why is because Apple says “I/OS is what I/OS is and what apple makes I/OS and Google says Android is open and you can do what you want to do with it because we want to using Android because we make our money to advertising and selling user data and services and Apple makes its money with hardware so of course I-phones are going to possibly be more expensive than Android devices.

Controlling Experience:

Two completely different market strategies, two completely different ways of approaching the same market place and the both doing the good job but doing good job in different ways. Apple creates I/OS and makes in operable with OS 10 or other I/OS products. You know that the controls the experience so you buying it to this, you buying into the family of experiences with not just with a single I/OS device. That’s the experience Apples creating by enlarge for the consumers.
Android on the other hand built anybody can make android device. Anybody could make an Android compatible device. There are lots of options out there that the benefit; there are a lots of options, lots of choices. The community is going to decide which one is going to route the rules because there is leading an Android phone that seeks to change almost like every other months which is good because we have got some kind of addiction to various devices but it also frustrating because one implementation of android is almost completely different from another implementation of Android that’s good but that’s also bad.

Accessories Support:

In terms of  accessories support there is something that might be an interesting for some of you more than others you can get untold amount accessories for your I/OS devices but not so much with Android devices. It is a big deal? Well for some of you it might be because you want to have a case that speaks to your personality others may not cares as much the just want a good device and so if you walk into a store if you found an accessory for your Android phone. It can happen but there are a lot of android products but you almost have to go with the leading product for the day. Pretty much be able to find the accessories that you want or need for weather it’s a case, a screen protector or any other thing.
But it is not the same with I/OS device so accessory support is completely different between the two; just like interoperate ability with other products is completely different between the two.

Support:

In terms of support Apples got stores but Google not so much we can buy I/OS device online and we can buy an Android product online well with Nexus product we know we go directly to Google but if it is another Android device who knows where we are going to career, or we are going to hardware manufacture it is the blame game potentially with android not so much with I / o s every body gets the same experience so that the benefit by that’s also the drawback because every body gets the same experience. But with Android every body gets the different experience that the benefit but that’s also a draw back because every body gets the different experience. So when it comes to support if you say its Android device, it may be completely different from some one else with Android predict. If you have an I/O S device it is like every body also this.

Community Support:

As far as community support in terms of modification. If you got an I/OS which apple does not like jail breaking and all. But people do it. Certainly Android on the other hand it anybody can do anything they want with it. And community of course is going to love Android for that reason. Because they can make it what they want to make it. And that really cause the explosive growth Android. But with I/OS this could not be done by the people and that not may be much liked by that. May be that want something thus going to be a bit more modifiable from the UI all the way down to the core system feature.

Speaking of UI:

I/OS needs to be a lots of modifications; change of wallpapers, some sound, move icons around but not really much go on there. But as in Android people were been very happy because if you want an animated wallpaper; yes Android do it, you can make it what you want to make it and that is the strength of android.
As in I/OS some people just want something to work and that is strength as much as might be a drawback for some others could be.

Types of Users:

As far as the type of users; well traditionally speaking Apple is a track for the people who had money. You can buy android device at some low cost but to buy I/OS device you should pay more money or we can say that apple’s device is bit costly than android.
But if you are a developer and you are looking to get in front of people who have money; then there is a better chance for you getting people to spent money on your I/OS.
Comparative to Android kind of because people certainly do spend money on the both platforms and every developer has a completely different experience and it is possibly even when or set by the I/OS devices in the market. Now some people say “Android is better because there are more devices in the market” MORE DOES’NT MEAN BETTER.

Core OS Feature:

As far as the core OS feature I/OS is basic; it has a slow evolution largely due to not really having a lot of competition. I mean it there was competition. In Android 4.2 version on NEXUS phone; woo this is really good experience.
Android is stuffed with solid stock features in advancing fast. So usually speaking Apple/I/OS is all bit about fit and finished as much as possible.

The App Market Places:

So Apple controls everything and Google controls when need to be controlled. The advantage of Apple store is you generally do not get a bad app. It is not going to crash/destroy your phone.
Google on the other hand may give you bad app not because they intentionally; just because they are there in the market place and you install it.
Apple may give consumers a better feeling of safety v/s Google which may give some feeling of insecure.

Multitasking:

As far as multitasking Android is more like an established computer experience even all the way to multi-tasking.
I/OS provide a smoother experience and that’s generally what I/OS is been able to provide to users. You can switch between the apps easily enough on I/OS and you can switch between apps easily enough on android as well as far as how many background tasks are managed.
If the app is developed properly, coding as it should be then I don’t think there is advantage or disadvantage one over the other.
Android is getting better at handling multitasking without taking away from what you see on the screen.
As compare to I/OS which is generally giving to users a smooth, buttery, fluid experience.
One thing I do want to share with you guys that before I stop the comparing is that the choice is irrelevant just as much as your is irrelevant because what you choose may not be what some body else chooses and point of view is completely different from some one else point of view. Nobody should want one platform to do everything better than another platform because better is irrelevant and we need the competition. And at the last I must told you that these OS devices are not just phones they are computers, they are real OS, they run real software’s and they get real experiences.
