How To Disable Specific Area of The Screen on iOS Device.

Hi friends I am Sahil Sharma as all we want to protect our most useful iPhone applications away from kids who accidentally uninstall it or some icons are moved from one place to another. Kids are kids we can’t stop them to play with our iPhone device. But we can do some restrictions on our iOS device with that we can protect our app or useful stuff.
If you are also the one who facing this problem then just do what I am explain you in this article.
There is a feature “Guided Access” in ios 6 with which you can disable certain area of screen of your iOS device. That means your kids can only use particular apps selected by you.
How to Enable "Guided Access":
To enable “Guided Access” in your iPhone device.
Just go to:
Settings > General

Then select Accessibility and then tap on “Guided Access”.
Then turn On this feature.
You can also set a passcode to enable “Guided Access”. Only the person who know the passcode will then make changes in Guided access when activated.

How To Disable Specific Areas of The Screen on iOS Device:

To Disable Specific Areas of The Screen on firstly tap on a app to run it. When you are in the app tap the Home key three times this will activates “Guided Access” mode.
Now you can see there is an Option button on the bottom left corner. After tap on Option button there is a page expose where you can set some more options.
If you turn off “Torch” then the entire screen will be disabled. And if you turn off  “Motion” then your iPhone will be locked in either portrait or landscape mode as it depends on which application is running.
To disable certain part of the screen draw a circle on the area which you want to disable just make sure that the starting points and the ending points meets and then the area will automatically selected.

You can also draw more than one area on the screen to disable the part of screen.

Tap on start to disable the selected area on the screen. Only the non greyish part will be functional the diasabled part will not do any functon while taping on it.
To stop “Guided Access” triple press the home key button. Now enter the passcode that you have created earlier. Now “Guided Access” page will open then while tap on End button your iPhone will return to normal.
