10 Tips to Optimize your Laptop Battery

Hi friends,Today Due to some problem in electricity Board ,there was a long power cut in my city,there was also something wrong with our backup batteries( inverter ) so didn't have any power source to charge my laptop but thanks to my friend Sunil who informed me about the power cut early in the morning and i fully charged the laptop before the cut but as per the information from my friend, the power will continue after 5 or 6 hours,and my lappy can't work continuously 5 hours without charging so i tried to optimize my laptop battery by using these following steps.surprisingly that really help me.

How to Optimize My Laptop Battery ?

  1. Change Power Plan to power saver

    • Click on battery sign on taskbar .
    • Select Power Saver as shown in screenshot.
  2. Change The Brightness

    Change the brightness as your need, try to use Dim as possible.
    • You can use your laptop function/multimedia keys
    • Or Click on Adjust Screen Brightness
    • Low the Brightness level
  3. Switch off all wireless adapters

    Just Switch off all wireless adapter including Bluetooth & WiFi. If you want connect internet try LAN cable and WiFi must be on 2nd priority.
  4. Stop unnecessary services & Process.

    • Open task manage.
    • Choose process and end all the unnecessary Processes.
      For Eg: IDM, Sticky notes, Gadgets etc.
    • Now Choose services -> Right Click on unwanted service and stop it. (except the service you don't knew about)
      For eg: Google updater,nvdia updater etc.
    • Empty temp folder.

      Deleting all temporary File in system can also optimize your battery life 
      • Just press window button + R or click start -->all program -->Accessory -->RUN.
      • Type "%TEMP%" without quote.
      • Delete all file and folder fro the Temp folder.
